Banque BCP’s origin dates back to 1967 which is the year Banque Troillet was incorporated. Since July 2009, Banque BCP belongs to Groupe BPCE , created by the merger of Groupes Caisses d'Epargne and Banques Populaires. Groupe BCPE is the second largest bank in France .
Project Description
Banque BCP wanted to establish a screen network for their branches in Luxembourg. The network’s purpose was to inform customers and communicate with employees. To meet these requirements, double-sided screens were installed in each branch and positioned so that a screen is always visible from outside the branch.
The screens display information about the bank’s financial products and real-time information such as stock quotes, weather forecasts, local events and other relevant news.
For this project, NAVORI partner TECH -IT deployed QL StiX Android devices in each Banque BCP branch. Each QL StiX displays data streams in real time via HTML5 content that is pre-downloaded and stored on each device. The QL StiX was chosen for its ease of use and installation as well as a playback quality that rivals traditional PCs, all while remaining extremely affordable.
Banque BCP staff use the NAVORI QL Manager software to manage the entire network via a web browser. This helps reduce software acquisition and maintenance costs. In fact, there is no software to install on individual workstations and the product is compatible with PCs and Macs.
